The morning workshop format allows writers to expand their creativity through a range of formal and informal exercises. These exercises might incorporate acting improvisation and art. They are designed to be stimulating, playful and challenging, and to surprise writers into producing work they might not have otherwise produced. Writers will generate the beginnings of new work and edit and sharpen more developed projects. Assigments will be given to those who want them.

Writers may use the afternoon to work on assignments or develop other work. They may then bring the results to present to the group. At the end of the week, writers will have expanded their abilities and ideas. They will also have received invaluable and constructive responses to work-in-progress or completed material.
